Welcome to The Guild of Messengers (v4.0)

The Guild of Messengers Logo

Shorah, y’all!

I’m Swifthawk, and I started playing MOUL way back in 2007 during the GameTap era.  Over these decades, against all odds, the community has continued to endure, grow, and evolve.  It’s very inspiring!

And so, in that spirit and tradition, I along with some established members have built GuildOfMessengers.info to take up the mantle and give the Guild of Messengers a permanent, dedicated home with the brightest future possible.

I want to reassure everyone that I’m in this for the long haul.  I’m enthusiastic about this project and plan to maintain and improve the site to keep it useful and relevant going forward.  I intend to share ownership of the assets involved, such as domain names, file system and database backups, and anything else related to the Guild so the site may live on if I get hit by a bus.  I need to work out how to do so while protecting what we build.

But, I’m not in charge here.  I’m a custodian that takes direction from Guild leadership.  They are, as I know them so far: @Korov’ev (General Manager) and @Nev’yn (Coordinator & Archivist/Cavern Crier).  If I’m missing anyone else, please let me know.

I was given some code from the most recent GoMe v3.2 site and migrated it here, but that migration has left me with some work to do.  As we collectively work out what the site should be and do, you’ll see some changes.

As always, I seek input from anyone about anything.  Comments, questions, bugs, ideas, criticism – anything.  Feel free to Contact me here.

Thanks to everyone for all your help and support.  This is gonna be great!  🙂
