(12/06 13:15:18) Prad: Like you know, Babbeltje and me have this ongoing project bringing back the cavern choir in the works, and I wanted to give you a status report.
(12/06 13:15:29) Prad: First of all – for everyone who wants to become a member of the choir, we have two recommendations for participation:
(12/06 13:15:39) Prad: 1.) You need to be able to sing (to be able to carry a tune, to be exact). I trust on your judgement and people you know well for that – we don’t do a qualifying examination atm.
(12/06 13:15:50) Prad: 2.) You don’t need to be able to read a musical sheet, but you need to be able to sing along a demo voice we provide for each voice of the choir.
(12/06 13:16:00) Prad: 3.) You need something to record music with, like usually microphone + headphone, some PC/Laptop with a soundcard and some recording program (there’s a bunch of freeware which suffices our purposes)
(12/06 13:16:16) Prad: Next about our progress: Since last week of october and during november Babbeltje and I have put together a program to record of 3 christmas songs for december, ‘We wish you a merry christmas’, ‘Tollite Hostias’ from the christmas oratorio of Camille Saint-Saens and ‘Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer’.
